Got frustrated by the image stitching and overall quality of NASA/JPL/Curiosity images.

...so I rebuilt one (with three colour variants) from the original data using four source images.

Using raw image data from: http://mars.jpl.nasa.gov/msl/multimedia/raw/?s=2 - these are the higher data shots from Navcam: Right A. Here, I've changed from BW to Color mode so I can tighten the process and use color to bring out detail. Once merged, the color, black settings, and so forth are applied across the entire panoramic stitching. If anyone should happen to know of an FTP source for raw images from JPL or NASA for Curiosity, I'd adore having access - I really want to be able to build high quality, easy to see images for my own self, and if I do that, I shall share them here
