early the blending takes hold
foundation work of appearing human
humming to one’s self, claiming
voice student, composer
these things fit at nearly any age
but explaining the music flows in
given any opening, prying away
every halfway decent tangle
forge to pond
gets one parsed as madness infused
easier to grin and groove
betraying nothing
