I have taken with not one grain of salt
but a crystal for each character in your missive
as every single letter has lent its weight
in missingness of that original point
wherein my desire was not to learn
how tamping a porcupine might –
but that even doing it right
was polydactyl in its wrongness
as demonstrated by the politician
