when the common cold isn’t good enough –
a scrap of poetry from a year before the plague
suggests trying something new, artisanal
with the ice melting, new possibilities opening
just snuggle up to the outflow, light the pipe
hookah roulette rewarding all players
all non-players alike
step right up
