Few In Station

o mortal, if you kick us
do we not bide our time
neither to prick nor bleed
but wait

to walk away unless restrained
and if restrained to break
only so much as needed
to walk away

whether or not you kick
time is on our side
our stride comes patient, wide
we dipping few in station
