a certain calico doom informs me
hey, definitely something out there
and – is it the moon – has but one reply
that it is, in fact, the moon
but somehow slyly ambiguous
sky-bound disingenuous shifts
never giving lie, an observation
rounding up our confiscations
for oceans sweeping by
