dreamed a picture of Dorian Gay
who some claimed dealt with devils
proudly on display
no dark unsightly horrors here
just larks, and jaunts, and happy cheer
painting ever more fabulous
oh to be that lovely man
forever young, for every glamour
a luminary stroke
who’d say when languorously sprawled below
the devils and I, we came together
to reach an understanding
