What’s best about our pile pie
is that it’s pretty quick denied
drop the rods, cook it up
no discussing the elephant

never goes bad, never goes good
this pie belongs in your neighborhood
drop the rods, cook it up
no standing on the elephant's foot

just desserts for you and I
warm and filling deep inside
drop the rods, cook it up
we’ll always remember the elephant
