Shopping Past Lives
February 21, 2023
today, contemplating purchases
necessities became apparent
cat food, cat litter, cat things
so very many cat things
small calico doom observes
stands directly upon the shiny
terminating net access, computer
shutting down to disinterest
reminding that in the shed
half forgotten, mouse-proofed
secure crates hold so much
and the clay doesn’t need boxes
