De-Godding The Car

we had to de-god the car again today
one of those fertility deities in battery pack
running on low for five minutes
then completely discharging
full power to everything
five seconds on blast
slow track to the Vermont corner store
mumbling imprecations all the while
then happy screams and giggles, bright lights
welcome to a particularly excited Nevada
