Repatriation

for repatriation
we are of manifold destiny singing
sweltering under reconstruction
someday, we will be strong
someday, we will ourselves control
our somedays in resewing
filled with hate, where hate defines us
when we touch, we are hating us
if we can unlearn this much
we will no longer be this bespoke thing
of careworn linen lined in fitting
for repatriation
