due to a clerical error
I was switched at birth
with my identical twin

magic, in its clarity
shows both of us
to be changelings

magic, in its clarity
shows both of us
our parents’ children

following both rules
our worlds combine
we who are conduit

by hot iron and salt
fire and sweet water
cycle generations
