A Kind Of Harvest

dreaming again of death
rolling through fast and kind
reminding that when it’s my job
hesitate not, be clean, respect
those food things, those pests
and all the rest that suffer
or suffer less by measure
to never slow the path
nor in the aftermath
misremember
