if you can get the voice of sanity
speaking wisdom to your position
people blink once, move on
swill another cup of coffee

but the voice of insanity
speaking pure and cogent reason
derails everything, come, listen
for every madness a coffer dam spilt

cageless, wandering, palming faces
rage in that buttressed concavity –
come, be with me, we inlureal
between bird and breast, whet paces
