An Earthen Berm

the happy place for sleeping is above heat-mass
carefully formed around an old proper-sealed woodstove
three-fold re-burner seeing to most of the smoke
Stirling engine on three-inch-thick extended plate
whirring away to itself, temp-controlled drafts
keeping mass comfy all night, wee baby fire, like me
all cozy, warm, and wrapped in heavy dreams
