later, we called them power washers
those rocket-resistant o-rings
challenging in shards the very physics
we harnessed towards burn

Feynman’s apocryphal hammer
reminding that stars in hydrogen
regain not in fusion glory their furnace
but slower, fastened unto dancing

where wee, third grade, remember
