not lots said ‘bout the aftermath
paths untaken still marked dot-dash
palmprints wrapped round heart

my pretty, pretty country
house of stone a-ruin
landlord taking plenty

justice library written in variations
blooded ink of not-yours, never was
how it be criminal, having one’s own
