the dog, well, sometimes it just keeps biting
and biting back, interrupted ouroboros style
gets into loop-state, already in the loop-state
a mouth full of that inherited family friend
wondering when, along the way, it settled in
lessening from friend-state to end-statement
unfitness an unsatisfactory mutual conflation
