Two rough painting starts, the top one is our subject. Both are in light purplish.ALT
Working on trash paint board, so there's scarring and whatnot. Detail of ripped up board and red/blue streaks for what will be hair.ALT
Detail in orange of what will be eye outlines.ALT
Most of the painting in shot, eyes and hair done, marker for chest done, some wash elements done. Purple face, orange eye lines, red and blue hair wash.ALT
About two washes from done, details laid in on face in blues, reds, oranges, and purples. Hair wash done. Marker touches done.ALT

Phone colors aren't quite scanner colors, but this is a decent approximaton of what the (two washes to go) painting will look like on completion. Lots of teal on face and body, hints of bone, forehead and chin marks, wide-splash mouth.ALT

Yeah, this is what I’m after.
