Spare Ribs

still the same plan
don’t eat the floor food
the five-hour rule –
or was it seconds –
does not apply in the kennels
unless you truly wish a stunning fight
the wyverns take delight in scuffle
you can tell by their sweet ruffle lift
they’re ready now to tiff
but I see you like your spare ribs
don’t mind my interruption
