Middling Unhappy

ah yes, to find that middle ground
one divides lines twixt min and max
claiming pax, claiming mid, claiming axe
cuts clean strokes amongst us slowpokes
cap escalating upon lost self to selfless
the could be of worsity straddling
every atrocity we’ve been told
would never be that middle ground
