The Cat
May 5, 2024
the cat, a grey humid mass
socks in my mountain head
thunder a constant flow
where below, sweat streams
predicate mental glaciers’ release
rumbling into warm tummy
we are seasonally, allergic
allegorical tree line gone green
content again under melt-water
