long thumbed and bookmarked in ambition
where my language gifts are limited by consternation
offer fighting words at best, nests of treasures
so fitting for convalescence among step motors
where cuts in variable curves serve well my measure
deserving better than I might this evening cautious find
in agitation, but too in art, write calling card re-signed
