Night Terrors
December 5, 2024

after midnight battle
one dresses wounds
honeying up burns

wraps for cracked knuckles
should be like washi tape
all flowers and cute animals

cuts, as bookmarks
glued closed
a self-lamination

while breakfast
after pounding out
a thousand dents

comes from forgiving
the bedside toaster oven
which always wins
