Ignoring Sheltered Spaces

yup, we had a tornado watch
come about fifteen hundred
taking a writing break, cup of tea
keeping company on the porch
patting each other’s backs, saying –
yep, there she is now, figure
e2, maybe, cows’ll be fine

shoulda taken the clothes down –
