Back Up Your Data

this little spot of doggerel’s
for backing up your data
do it now, today
via SAS or SATA

your future self will love you
for the access without drama
to the stuff you’ve long been loving
without which there’d be trauma

don’t put it off, make no delay
it’s how to make it all OK
for the love of pants do it today
so that tomorrow you won’t say

I’m boned, so reft,
so screwed, adrift
my rhyming scheme
has Shatnered
