my partner at the time believed in things
which is excellent, sharing beliefs
that’s cool, makes relationships more interesting
says – hey, draw a tarot card every morning
it’ll help you understand your day better –
no further explanation, but easy is easy
three months in, they find the stack of cards
confusion evident on their face as I say –
I think I’m getting better at these
really capturing the feel of the roots
