Geraniums Again

sneezing myself wakeful
it comes as zero shock
that the smell of fetid flowers
has gotten in my socks
I ask myself a question
I ask myself a why
but these geraniums are nasty
and I can’t get ‘em to die
the trampling did nothing
the goats, they turned away
I thought they would eat anything
but my landscape they betrayed
