the music stand which holds my book
for when my hands are tired
flops in the breeze of my AC
at the corner of my vision
my brain declares the time it took
while I was sitting wired
would leave me dead to threat I see
reaction by division
which did not prevent the swing I took
in fear of monsters what desired
the tender meat composing me
now leaking from decision
