my uncle Billy says –
kid, you’re the exception
anything over the counter,
read the contraindications
then, add one line

in case of being you
the effects of this medication
will be unpredictable
potentially hazardous
and uncomfortable

later, in the supermarket
just add that line to everything
food, electronics, everything
in case of being you
remember

fountains are cool
unless the fountain
is you
