Due Regard

I put a ring around the ring
where I don’t believe the thing
but ban my chickens briefly from the back

cattle fence of steel
might drop my curb appeal
but so far pretty changelings I do lack

and you might just find it funny
that by there I leave honey
but confidence in no way means I slack
