so I’m swilling arse coffee
biting my tongue
we are not authors here
standing on each other’s tongues
we are censors
I maintain my silence
there is a place
for beautiful mundane
but the mandate for it
comes home with me
where in three sheets
quick, normal, romantic
I write its disposition
bury it out back
a bone for later
should I get a-hungered
