Seven Thousand Meters

I see we’ve moved
from don’t do dumb
to do dumb less
a step for wards
a step to crack
relying on language
we don’t have yet
to save ourselves
a ward for steps
a crack for stepping
relaying movement
from doing dumb
to dumbing down
that under sea
we still breathe sky
the harvest itch
to satellite bliss
in this abyss
steeped for wards
we hope won’t crack
