Night Tremors

when I look up
panic, in cat
has already engaged
polydactyl stabbing
absconding with cloth
where shorts lived
second cat
regrets on display
crashes arse foremost
fewer toes
deeper gouges
in red freedom
while shoulder cat
all innocence
declares haven
